Covr Security is pleased to announce the appointments of Johan Bragner as Chief Technology Officer and Rob Alford as SVP Sales EMEA, strengthening the team for the company's next phase of growth.
The appointments bring together two priorities: accelerating product development to address the growing and changing demands of secure authentication, and expanding Covr's sales presence across Europe, the Middle East and Africa with senior industry experience.
Accelerating product development
Johan brings extensive experience across software engineering, technology leadership, cloud architecture, APIs and financial technology, with a strong track record of building and leading technology in environments where security, scalability and reliability are critical.
As CTO, Johan will take overall responsibility for Covr's technology strategy and technical organisation. His focus will be the continued evolution and scalability of the platform, ensuring Covr can rapidly translate customer and partner requirements into successful deployments.
Expanding Covr's commercial reach
Rob brings with him 20 years of experience in the identity space. He joins Covr from Ping Identity, where he had been working as a Strategic Account Director for the last six years.
His background also includes seven years as Business Development Director at SailPoint, a UK and Ireland sales leadership role at Picus Security, and earlier account management roles at Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Symantec.
As SVP Sales EMEA, Rob will help expand Covr's sales presence across the region, bringing substantial experience in identity, security and enterprise technology to the commercial team.
Building for the next phase of growth
Together, Johan and Rob will help connect product development more closely with customer needs: evolving Covr's authentication and authorisation platform as requirements change, while bringing its capabilities to more customers and partners.
